Hello Therapy Groups

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidenced based treatment that is used to teach skills that help clients create a life worth living. DBT skills training is a 6-month group held once weekly for 2 hours, and sessions are focused on learning and practicing skills. Group members are also required to see an individual therapist.

“DBT was originally developed to treat chronically suicidal individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD), and it is now recognized as the gold standard psychological treatment for this population. In addition, research has shown that it is effective in treating a wide range of other disorders such as substance dependence, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and eating disorders.”- Behavioral Tech
